Our Veterinarians

Dr. Thomas Mano is a 1979 graduate from the Iowa State University. He has been an
associate veterinarian at Racine Veterinary Hospital for over almost 3 decades.
His professional interests include internal medicine. When not caring for pets, Dr. Mano
enjoys gardening.
Dr. Nancy Emmrich graduated from the University of Missouri in 1996. Her professional
interests include the human-animal bond and preventive medicine. When not caring for
pets, Dr. Emmrich enjoys family, church and watching football.
Dr. Bruce Jens is a 2000 graduate of the University of Wisconsin. His professional
interests include orthopedic surgery and preventive medicine. When not caring for pets,
Dr. Jens enjoys motorcycling, boating and cooking.
Dr. Wendy Sherer graduated from University of Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Teaching Hospital in 2007  Her professional interests include  feline medicine and specifically geriatric cats. When not caring for pets, she enjoys keeping fish and watching their interesting behavior. She
also loves to travel, whether somewhere exotic or just a day trip around Wisconsin.

Our Mission Statement


Lazarus Veterinary Clinics is a Christian not for  profit corporation consisting of Racine Veterinary Hospital (Racine, WI), Deforest Veterinary Clinic (DeForest, WI), And Dogs Too Veterinary Clinic (Middleton, WI), and Citywide Pet Clinic (Monona, WI). Our mission is four fold: 


*  We serve you and your pets by providing the highest standard of compassionate medicine, surgery, dentistry and preventive care. 


*  We serve the suffering animals in our community by providing veterinary services to the local animal charities.


*  We serve the students of our community by education through internships and lectures.


*  We serve the suffering people of underprivileged nations by directing all of our profits to Christian charities that help them.
